Woodlot Park Tennis Courts - 124 New Rd. Monmouth Junction. An Update --
The Township is in the preliminary stages of renovating Woodlot Park, including playground, fields and tennis courts. Professional testing was performed on the stability of the soil under and around the current tennis courts. The test results showed that the soil at the current location is unstable. The soil instability is a contributing factor to the deteriorating conditions of the courts. Due to these conditions, we were advised not to utilize township money to re-surface the courts. We understand there is a large residential need for tennis courts so please be patient as we move forward in trying to improve, renovate and reconstruct our park. This a very large community and we strive to provide all residents an opportunity to be engaged in many different ways.
